Can you remove the….just the opposite of the expression we hear inside when we decide to change or undertake out of an apparent security.

The weight of the backpack, the fears, the failure stories…When one takes the step, he usually runs into the projection of others along the way.. Always with the best intention and from the comfort of what seems safe to them (although nothing lasts forever, nor life)

Staying in the same place where you have perceived that you have been languishing as a professional and as a person for a long time does not make much sense to me.. If you expect to take the plunge with more than 40 time slot of use 50 worse, your backpack will weigh more, your employability will be less and your battery of energy and enthusiasm may reach the end of its useful life prematurely.

If your heart tells you loud and clear that it does not want to retire where you work today but your brain and pocket cover your mouth with your fixed expenses and positively minimizing what you now do, you are putting a price on your life.

Decisions to change jobs should be weighed well, but we spend too many hours on it to risk our health, the joy or resignation for years to dedicate ourselves to something with enough sense of its own.

With the utmost respect for the situation and decisions of whoever reads me, I share with you and invite you to reflect on these 10 points:

  1. If not even you would sign now for your position, you are at risk and you have homework
  2. The comfort temperature is not a guarantee of the future, don't get burned and don't let the cold freeze you until you can't decide lucidly
  3. The company you work for deserves a better version of you.. And you more
  4. You will never discover what you really are if you do not undertake in one way or another. Start in your own organization if the context supports
  5. If to the question of what did you study ? you go back to a period prior to a year, you are losing competitiveness.
  6. Do not be a passive spectator of technology. It is a basic tool if you decide to understand it and use it for your benefit and that of your employers.
  7. Making professional decisions only with your pocket does not lead to happiness (unless yours is fundamentally based on money)
  8. Wait ( to what ?) It's less of an option. The world changes fast
  9. Do not wait for others to decide for you on an issue as vital as work
  10. Protect both your future and your past.

with that dream promotion: If you are in a company where you are valued, compensate and take care as you deserve, cheers. Grow with it and help others to grow
